how to upgrade oracle database from 10.2 to 11g

I have two  rac database servers which Oracle 10g installed. I got request to upgrade them to 11g one. How should I prepare the project step by step document to finish this task.

You realize that 11g is coming to the end of life.  I'm not sure I would want to upgrade from a desupported version to another soon to be desupported version.

That said:
Step by Step instructions are pretty much impossible because every system and database are different.

During every upgrade there are things you need to do differently on one database that you don't need to do on others based on what options and features you have installed and are using.

If you are unfamiliar with Oracle I would strongly encourage you to hire a local RAC consultant to come in and assist you.

I would probably start with the many papers out there on upgrading.
