<a href="..."> not working

This is html code in index.html (Resume tab):   please see http://datapassion.net/index.html

<abbr title="Click to demo video..."><a href=./demo.html#ExxonMobil">ExxonMobil</a></abbr>

Open in new window

When I click on "ExxonMobil" I am expecting to navigate to where xxx is at demo.html#ExxonMobil (but it deosn't):
(For "ExxonMobil", please see the line at the very bottom, 2 before last line)
<video height="28" controls data-height="300">
	<source src="./resources/4_DataAnalysis.mp4" type="video/mp4">
	      Your browser does not support HTML5 video.
	</video><hr><hr><br/><br/>
<a id="ExxonMobil">xxx</a>

Open in new window

Btw, demo is the same as Vidoe button.

Question: How can I make to navigate to xxx text at demo.html (which it does) and scroll down to xxx (which it doesn't)?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I am confused - there are only two Exxon links and both of them link to more.html. If I view source I can only find the two references to Exxon - the ones above.

Where is the link ?

<a href=./demo.html#ExxonMobil">ExxonMobil</a> is missing a quote.
Should be <a href="./demo.html#ExxonMobil">ExxonMobil</a>

However, I didn't see that in your page.  The W3C Validator isn't real happy with your page: https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Fdatapassion.net%2Findex.html
