CCTV no image

My company have one unit Samsung DVR which is locate in Singapore ,i am able using software to see the CCTV image in Singapore office and also in my house (Malaysia).But very strange during my Boss travelling to other country ,he not able to login to the DVR but the screen is blank.Port for the DVR we open is 3495.Please advise which port should i set in DVR so that all the country can access without no issue.Thanks

Port opened in DVR is not important per se. I guess if you can access your CCTV from outside of your company network in your country, most likely you should be able to access from any other country.
From outside of your local network you should access to DVR over public IP address and if device is behind router or firewall you should set correctly port forward (or static nat) on your edge device.

Actually this DVR we are already configure public IP as well and we open port for 3495 only.I am able to see the image at my home and Singapore.

Is your boss able to see image when he is out of office? Or you from your boss's laptop from your home? If there is some missing codec, blocked active X component, boss entered wrong IP address or port... your boss still will not be able to see image, although you can from your home, so problem could be settings on your boss laptop (IE settings, firewall etc).

When you are accessing to you network IP address x.x.x.x:3495 from anywhere in the world should be the same. If you are able to access from your home, your boss should be able to access also from any location, except if there is some filtering traffic present on local network from where boss is trying to access your DVR (although it is very uncommon from my experience).

You mentioned that he cannot see the images, but you're not telling us what he does see. That's going to be very important in determining how best to answer this. Could be an issue in firewalls, could be an issue involving network rules. There is a lot of detail digging that needs to be done.

As I state in the question ,we are using same DVR CMS software to configure in my home, office and Boss notebook. The different is location only.

Have you been able to check whether the network traffic from your boss is even reaching the Singapore location? Can your boss connect to another system in Singapore? If not, the port number won't matter.

The questions is the software is able to authenticate with the DVR and I also test the port from my Boss location to DVR that is fine also.

We give up the old CCTV and convince my Boss to purchase the new CCTV system.Because the old CCTV is too old and can not support a lot of features.
