Powerpoint template in French - how to get file based on it in English

I have a customer who has to work off a corporate template. This template is in French. When you creates a new Powerpoint file from this (in English) Powerpoint identifies the English as misspelling. She has experimented with the dictionary option and language settings in the status bar. My opinion is that while the template is in French, she will continue to have this problem and that she needs to get the template in an English version. But I am open to other approaches/suggestions...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1. Open the template file (file.pot, file.potm or file.potx).
2. Place the cursor any place on the page
3. Click the Review tab ―> Language ―> Set Proofing Language ―> select English (U.S.) ―> click OK
4. Click the File tab ―> Save as tab ―> new_file_name with file type as PowerPoint Template

When you select the new_file_name.potx to create a new presentation, the proofing language will be in English!
