create a child form in visual studio 2013 c# webform

I need guidance to create child form in c# webform.
I am trying to change the Access forms to c# webforms using visual studio 2013.
I have converted the first access form to webform but it has subforms/child forms. I need similar in webforms.
How this can be achieved?

Can anyone give a guidance?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The parent/child form pattern doesn't have an exact match in webforms. You can mimic the concept, however, depending on what your form contains. If your parent form is a gridview and you want to display details of a selected record, you can use the detailsview ( If your parent form is displaying a single row and you want to display multiple child rows, you can either use a datagridview or repeater control. If you have data that will be displayed in multiple locations within your application, you can also consider creating a custom user control (ascx control).

Below link has some sample code where you can click on button click even to launch another form.

But if you are using Gridview and then just trying to open a new form to show more details of that row then you need to follow the steps approach provided by Shaun Kline.
