Yosemite VNC connections - refresh problem

Apple's implementation of VNC in 10.8 was perfect. Crisp, sharp, no blurriness.

In 10.9 and 10.10, VNC is unpleasant to use. Whenever you move a window, some graphics turn blurry, and take 5 - 10 seconds to properly sharpen. This goes for graphics and fonts. This occurs even on a brand-new Mac Mini running 10.10.4 with 16 GB RAM.

I've enabled "Reduce transparency" in the Accessibility control panel but this does not resolve the issue.

All thoughts welcome.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

El Capitan is the fix for Yosemite problems, as Snow Leopard was for Leopard, and Mountain Lion was for Lion.
It is too new for much feedback on the internets, generally it is getting a good reception.
It may or may not offer a good solution for your complaint, but networking was one of the main areas targeted for improvement.
Backup before upgrading an OS, SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner are most often recommended. I use SuperDuper.
I have downloaded the El Capitan installer, moved it out of the Applications folder so it will not be deleted after use. And will create a bootable USB flash drive installer.
