Recently I set up a new windows 10 computer and installed office 2010, which is what I was using previously on the computer I am replacing.
Outlook kept crashing/locking up with the profile that was using IMAP to gmail.
I have an office365 account and for $99 a year it gives me 5 installations, so I used one to test whether or not outlook would crash and it hasn't.
For reasons that are too complicated to explain, I don't want one of my 5 installations on that computer. I'd like to purchase a license ($219 at the big box store or directly from MS) and apply that license office on that computer.
I'd like to know if it's possible to do without uninstalling/reinstalling office completely.
Is there a way to do this?
