Synology backup

Try to create a Backup Destination on Synology but it fails. The message is "The IP address is denied by Remote Network Backup service".

However, the "Enable network backup volume destination" (Backup Services --> Network Backup Volume Destination) has been clicked on the destination NAS. Any idea ?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Access rights are provided, aren't they? Is the NAS access limited by specific user?
See whether, on the remote server, the IP address of the other Synology is in the list of IP addresses which have been blocked due to attempts to log in with the wrong (or mistyped) password:  On the remote server, log in, and go into Control Panel/Security/Auto Block, and hit the allow/block list tab.  Then select Block List.  Is the IP address of the system from which you're backing up listed there?  If so, remove it, make sure the server you're backing up from is using a correct login/password combination for the destination, and try again.
