Sharing SAN volumes within 2 ESXi hosts for High Availability
Hello,
my understanding is that to configure high availability in a VMware ESXi environment, I will have to add the hosts to a cluster, enable vSphere HA on the cluster and share the SAN volume between the hosts.
My question is, do I have to manually map the SAN volume to all host in the cluster, by specifying the iqn of the scsi connector (for each host in cluster) on the SAN? or is the volume sharing between host automatically done by just adding the host to the cluster?
