"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It may vary for your printers and devices. I do the following (Symantec Support on the phone at the time)

Change Settings link (left side)
Network Threat Protection Button
Firewall tab:
Uncheck "Enable Port Scan Detection"
Uncheck "Number of seconds to block 600"
Notifications tab:
Uncheck "Display Intrusion Protection notifications"

That got rid of the majority of the alerts.

Had to Ring Symantec Support as some of the options are not available running Endpoint Protection small Business , which ended up being a WebEx on where he reconfigured some Rules.
