Problem with scanning paper
I have an HP-color Laser jet printer when I try to scan multiple page the scanner will take about 2mins for one page. I am sending the scan to my email account the printer model is HP-COLOR LASER JET CM2320nf MFP
If the scanning quality doesn't matter too much, lower the resolution. Scanning at lower resolutions should increase the speed. Besides that you can also usually select to scan black and white text only, which should be the fastest, grey scale, or color, which would take longer.

You should be able to launch the HP scanner dialogue and the resolution settings are in there.

From the webpage or control panel
HP normally has software that you would have installed (especially for the scanner). Look in all programs for HP and look in the HP program folder. That is where I find my scanner.

No i just installed the driver from the internet no software
You need the scanner software to adjust the scanning properties, so with barebones scanning software, you may have to live with the time (not abnormal).
When you scan, what do you scan into? The receiving application might have resolution adjustment / grey scale adjustment properties.

As you are scanning to email, the scan parameters have to be set on the printer, either via its control panel or via its web page. Try the following steps on the printer's control panel:
If the product control panel has an Email Menu button, press Email Menu.
-or-
If the product control panel does not have an Email Menu button, press Scan Menu.
Use the arrow buttons to select Current Settings, and then press OK.
Use the arrow buttons to select Scan Resolution, and then press OK.
Select an option: 75, 150, or 300, and then press OK.
You can also change between colour and mono. A scan resolution of 300 dpi is OK for mono text. For colour images, 200-300 dpi is plenty - if the image will be printed same size. If the print will be enlarged or reduced, change the resolution accordingly. If the image will only be viewed on screen, 100 dpi is enough, and 150 is plenty.

Manuals are normally available from the manufacturer, in your case HP. Visit HP's web site, look for the Support section, search for your model, and you should have the downloads listed there.

Know I have another problem some how we have a password on the machine but we don't have the password how can we reset this machine
That would normally also be something that is explained in the manuals.
If the page to be scanned is heavily graphic, time is normal.
Otherwise, uninstall the Printer / Scanner software (all bits), restart and install the complete package again.
