"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you notice the image we have sent you noticed that iCloud is already on because there are two notes on iCloud.  Nevertheless your recommendation was done verified prior to placing this question.

We need to copy the 976 notes on out iPhone to the iCloud.
On the iPhone, go to Settings > Notes > Default Account and see what accounts you have.

Set the default account to the one that is syncing rather than to "On my phone"

then transfer those notes from the "on my phone" account to an account that syncs. One way of doing this is by tapping the Share icon in the note, tap "Copy", tap "Notes" to view your list of notes, tap "Accounts", tap an account that will sync to your Mac, tap the "+" icon, tap and hold, paste the note.

With 976 notes, that will take a long time. Let me see if I can find a way to do it in bulk.

Default Account is iCloud (the 2 notes already there that does sync).

There is no "Share" icon in the note or "Copy" option.

will check your link...
Here is a third party app that promises to move your notes in bulk (Copy Trans):
You have to go to one of the 976 notes in Notes and click on the icon that looks like a box with an up arrow in the bottom left corner of the individual note.

Think we got it.

Go to the folder you wish to move, in our case the folder in the iPhone device with 975 notes
then click on Edit on top right
Select the Note or Notes to move (there is no "copy" option)
Click on "Move All" at the bottom left, if non was selected above or "Move To..." for the select which notes to move
Select the destination folder

(Got this while trying to find Share icon on the iPhone as per ID: 41027374)
Glad you got it. You must be using an newer iOS than mine (I am still on 7) since I don't have an Edit button.
