("just for learning purposes, I have about 5 PCs...) what would be my minimum requirements, I'm planing to build it on a "Windows 2012 R2", I looked at the "AlienWare Alpha (http://www.alienware.com/landings/alpha/)"and they have dual cores and one i7 QuadCore, also the Intel NUC i7-5557U (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/nuc/nuc-kit-nuc5i7ryh.html) but I'm not sure if that would be enough?

Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM, formerly known as Systems Management Server) is Microsoft’s system software for managing large groups of not only Microsoft computers, but those running other operating systems, such as Linux, OS-X, and various mobile technologies.

SCCM

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose.
