Hello there,

I'm trying to build my own SCCM server at home... ("just for learning purposes, I have about 5 PCs...) what would be my minimum requirements, I'm planing to build it on a "Windows 2012 R2", I looked at the "AlienWare Alpha"and they have dual cores and one i7 QuadCore, also the Intel NUC i7-5557U but I'm not sure if that would be enough?

If you have 8 GB RAM, you can install SCCM for testing purposes.

We have I7, 16 GB of RAM and RAID 0 with two SSD disks to run entire environment in Hyper-V virtual machines for SCCM courses and the run smoothly.

runs well on NUC's.. We use them in trade shows/demonstrations.. Anyone misplacing that pelican case will miss a few paydays :->  We never leave it unattended (too easy to just walk off with our mini data center.  6 NUC I5.. Here is Mikael's NUCCase an I5 with 8-16G of ram is sufficient.. SSCM requires 8G ram for SQL Server.
