If this is an Imap or exchange server, have you tried deleting the mail account and adding it back?

No this is just gmail account not exchange server.

The email is hard to tell in my gmail account since the time stamp is in 1/1/1970 I can't find it in my gmail account.

Is there anything lost if I delete and re-add the account again ?

No there should not be any items lost if you delete the Gmail account as Gmail uses IMAP. I have seen this before on an older iPhone and removing and recreating the account does fix the issue.

Gmail is using IMAP, that's why I suggested you delete then add it back.

There are still other services that use POP3, so you should always be sure before you delete.  You would lose mail if you were using POP3 and didn't set the "leave mail on server" option.
