Word folder on Desktop had changed to a music folder

My W7 machine with Word 2013 has a folder of some 750 files, chiefly docx and pdf, situated on the desktop.

Suddenly I can no longer organize the folder by the files' dates.

When I go to Help in the folder header, I see that the folder has become a music library whereas it should be a document folder.

Help, experts, please.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Right click on the folder name, choose Properties, then go to Customize and choose the type of folder you want.
