Exchange 2010 Mailbox Cleanup via PowerShell

Looking for a way to run mailbox cleanup (similar to the Outlook feature) on specific mailboxes. We are running Exchange 2010 SP3.

This would remove redundant messages in an email chain as well as any duplicate message in the user mailbox.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Best to let user perform mailbox clean up. Archiving data into archive mailbox is the best way to perform any clean up.

Thanks. Not just duplicates though, is there a way to run a cleanup on individual storage groups through Exchange with specific criterion (retention tags?) like deleting all unread messages in the Inbox that are older then 6 months?
