Page number assignment in Word 2013

I have add the page number to my document but I only want to start the page number at page 3, because the first 2 pages is the content. Any idea ?

try this.

1. let's say at Page 3, goto the top of page 3, then go to menu Page Layout > Breaks, click Section Breaks > Continuous.

2. in page 3, insert your footer by goto menu Insert > Footer

3. if you want to change the starting number, edit the footer, under the menu Design, click Page Number > Format Page Numbers. Click the "start at" option and set as 1.

It works. But how can I delete the page number in the first section (Content Page)
 ie. Number only starts at second page.

If I delete the page number on the first page, page number in each page will be deleted as well... any idea ?

as per the sample doc I had uploaded in comment: ID: 41029924, the page number is starting at page 3, with value starting from 1.

what do you mean by "Content Page" ? which one is considered as the "first page" in your requirement?
