Outlook 2010 cannot access data file

Hello,

In our office we have sbs 2011 and exchange 2010. One of the mailboxes is shared between 3 computers. Only one of the computers has issues and receives error that Outlook 2010 cannot access data file. After reopening the Outlook, there is no more errors for at least a couple of hours.

Could you please advise ?

Thank you,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

A data file is sometimes used on the PC, either in Cached or even non Cached mode.
Also check if he's using another PST file. Close this PST file for now to test (for example, archive.pst)
If already NO open PST file, try to recreate the Outlook profile, preferably in non Cached mode.
Check the PC for hard disk errors too.
