Outlook 2016 Configuration
We are trying to configure Outlook 2016 through ActiveSync for accessing Business Email. Outlook 2016 is trying to connect Exchange Server 2010 via local network through ActiveSync. While creating Outlook Profile, we are getting the attached error and Outlook is not getting configured.
FYI, Outlook 2016 is working via IMAP configuration connecting to Exchange Server 2010 with the same Username and Password.
Kindly advise.

Thanks for your message. Our issue is Outlook 2016 is not providing option to connect exchange server using standard Exchange connection settings. Outlook 2016 connects Exchange Server only through EAS Protocol (using autodiscover) or POP/IMAP.
The link provided in the above comment applies for Office 2013 and earlier versions. Office 2016 connecting to Exchange Server is different (through EAS Protocol) as compared to earlier versions.
Kindly advise.

My bad. I overlooked your question. Let me research more on this. As far as, I can read Exchange 2010 is supported.
