"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No, I don't believe it will work. You will need to get an Outlook 2011 license code.

Dear OP, The license key that you usually get along with the software you purchased is generated via software activation mechanism (algorithm). So it only matches to the version it is created/generated for. They might work if its only a minimal update but of the version.

A simple example that will make sense would be if you have two locks; one big and the other small. The key for the smaller lock can't be used for the bigger one.
