Setting up PPTP VPN WIndows 2012

Hi Experts, I need to setup PPTP vpn for a 2012 server. I have added RRAS role as per instructions here with a single NIC, server is VM -

Their existing 2003 server has one NIC but has 2 internal IPs one for Internal connection and one for LAN. What is the difference between the two?

I am currently moving users from a Windows 2003 PPTP vpn so wanted to know what things I need to make sure  I cover to ensure a smooth transition
- I will be pointing external IP to new LAN (or internal IP not sure??) IP of 2012 PPTP server

I have done the scenario of a VPN server on a VM with one NIC without issue. You would forward ports to the IP that virtual NIC is assigned.

The page you reference covers basically everything you need to know. Be sure to test, but you should not have problems as long as you did it all properly.

Guess noone can answer what that "internal IP" should have as meaning. Maybe there are two LAN subnets. Skip that with the new server, and see what happens ;-).
