Insert from one table to another

I want to insert the values of one table into another where there is a match on field names.  There are some fields in both tables that are not the same they can be ignored

Open the QBE.  
Add the source table to the grid.  Close the wizard.
Select all the columns individually or by clicking to highlight them and then dragging.
Change the query type to append.
Enter the target table name.
Access will automatically populate the To cell for any columns with matching names.  
Delete the unmatched names.

Do you need to do this for a lot of table pairs or just once.  If once, then Pat's solution is the simplest.  Otherwise, you would need some VBA code that created the SQL based on the two table names.
