Applied update to all esxi 6 host and now snmp wont start up

We applied a patch to all of the ESXi 6 host and now SNMP wont start. we get the error: Hostservicesystem.start for object servicesystem-31
I found an article that says to edit the snmp.xml file and add an entry to it, but not sure how to edit this file for each host or is there something else I should do?

WinSCP or VI.

Ok I saw that about vi but just not sure how to use it to edit the snmp.xml file which is in the /etc/VMware folder.
I don't want to screw up the host that's for sure..
if you do not know of to use vi.

Download and Install WinSCP on a Windows Computer, connect to the host, and select the file, and Edit.

I still cant get the snmp server to start on any of the host even after following this doc:
http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2036910

Any ideas on how I can get the snmp server to start again..
is the snmp.xml file correct ?

are you confident that this is the fix?

No I am not I just found an article that said this could be the issue..
The snmp was working until we applied an update to all of the host to take them to ESXi 6 update 1

just not sure what to try to get the snmp server to start again??
Okay, I would escalate to VMware Support, as to the cause, if it worked before the Update, and now fails after, maybe another bug has been found.
