We have a chat application that runs fine when it is run via xcode on an iPhone 6 device with the latest firmware (9.0). Xcode is the latest one (7.0.1).<br />
<br />
When we disconnect it from xcode and run it directly on the device, the app opens and then closes... We are looking for logs but there are no logs that register this particular crash.<br />

Before upgrading this would not happen... Any idea what could be causing this? <br />

iOS Application exits when not in xcode

The iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple Inc. It and the iPad, along with several other mobile devices from Apple, run on the iOS operating system, which has its own topic, as does the iPad for device-specific questions. Native iOS applications are written in Objective-C or in Swift using the Cocoa Touch frameworks or HTML5 compiled with the help of a package manager such as Adobe PhoneGap; a common IDE is Xcode.

iPhone

iOS is a mobile operating system developed by Apple; it is a derivative of the Mac OS X desktop operating system, with which it shares many (but not all) common frameworks and other components.
