Trouble Installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 After Upgrading to Windows 10

I have a computer which we upgraded from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro.  We had issues with Kaspersky Internet Security, which we uninstalled and are trying to reinstall.  The install fails saying the computer may be infected.  I scanned computer with MS Safety Scanner, and Kaspersky's system scanner and the computer is clean.  All the latest updates are installed, Windows Defender was disabled, and I ran the Kaspersky removal tool.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The version of Kaspersky that you used on Windows 7 is not compatible with Windows 10. You will need to get the latest version from their site which is compatible.

Go to their website and click the banner at the top of the page regarding the Windows 10 upgrade.

I use Symantec but I did have to upgrade to the highest version in the 12.1.6 series to work properly with Windows 10 (and the results were good).
