Allow / setup email on Linux server / cpanel

Hi I have a virtual server, that runs open cart. It has cpanel etc installed.

Problem is opencart is not sending emails eg from contact us page. It says message has been sent but I don't get anything. I don't need to receive email just send them to my exchange server.
When it was on a shared server it used to work. What I'm I doing wrong or do I have to configure something in cpanel. I opencart I have just entered email like I used to with the -f in front of the email address.

Please help

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check /var/log/maillog to see what is the problem.

If there is no mention of your email there, then the problem is in the script that sends emails.
