Load PST files from Outlook 2010 to Windows Live Mail

My company previously used Lotus Notes and I used Outlook 2010 for my personal Yahoo account.  They switched from Notes to Outlook 2013 (Yeah!), and I purchased a utility to convert my Notes NSF file to PST and I saved the PST file from my Yahoo account.

I need to keep my Yahoo account separate from our IT supported Outlook, so I was thinking that Windows Live Mail would be a good candidate, but I cannot figure out how to load PST files into Live Mail.  I would also like to use Live Mail for my work email that was converted from Notes.

How can I convert these two PST files into a format that can be imported into Live Mail.

Also, I am open to using another email client if I can load PST files and it will respect the folders I created under Inbox.  Also has to work with Yahoo POP server.

Thanks!

1.but I cannot figure out how to load PST files into Live Mail

install the Outlook and Outlook Connector. Setup Outlook through the connector to use your Live mail account.

Drag your email folders from your .PST file to your Live Mail account.

Open Windows Live Mail, access the Live Mail account and open one of the "Moved" folders and then  "Select All" messages and drag them into a local Windows Live Mail folder.
Repeat the process for all "Moved" folders.
Uninstall the Outlook  Outlook Connector when finished

if it is not working in outlook 2013, then try any old version for conversion and then uninstall the old version.

I need to keep my Yahoo account separate from our IT supported Outlook,

for this you go to control panel -then type mail-----then show profiles-- then prompt a profile to be used ----then create account one by one.

you can merge your both mails in single PST

Hi,

Please try downloading and installing the trial version of Office 2010, add the PST file to the mail profile, then importing in WLM.

I ended up using eM Cilent, did not have to connect PST file to Outlook, eM Client imported it directly.  So far I am happy with eM Client, it is very similar to Outlook so I had little learning curve.

Thanks!
