Does your Linux (server) have a graphical environment (desktop) or not? If it does not have a graphical desktop, you can connect using PuTTY (SSH) - you won't need to install anything for that on the Linux server, you just download PuTTY here: <a href="http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html" rel="ugc">http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html</a>
