Backup exec 14

I had some disk backups on internal drives. I noticed that after last night backup the disk backups are gone. Does back up exec clear out old backups automatically? Does keep the backup 2 weeks mean the backup stays in the disk for 2 weeks and after the backup is removed? Thanks

It depends on your rotation schedule and whether there are any incremental or differential backups that are dependent upon an older backup.  Provided there are no dependencies, Backup Exec will delete expired backups (i.e., backups that are past the retention period that you've set).
