File Name Extensions in Windows 8.1

I am creating a windows 8.1 image using MDT. One of the application requires "File Name Extension" to be checked to work in the explorer view menu.
I have done some registry tweak to remove "Hide known file types" in folder options. But this does not tick File Name extension. How to make sure "File Name  Extension option" ticked permanently for all users
