MDT 2013 - PXE install and Offline Media install (USB) do not behave the same

We have a MDT 2013 server setup and working.
Now, for each machine in deployment share, an USB is also created, (One "computer" stored on one USB stick)
Got it working in this question, thanks :)
http://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28738099/MDT-2013-up-and-running-now-time-to-create-bootable-USB's.html

Problem:
Upon deploying to a target machine from USB, the dialog is not identical to what it looks like using PXE boot.

When booting from USB  this happens:
-Domain or WORKGROUP must be selected, that selection not available during PXE boot.
-Language/keyboard can be selected, those selections are grayed out using PXE boot. Only timezone is selectable then.
-The option to not set administrator password at this time is not present, it is using PXE.

The MDT->Advanced Settings->Media folder is pointing to the same task sequence  as is used for the same image in PXE.

The system deployed is a custom Win 2012 server.

Why?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Media has its own customsettings so wondering if the Deployment Share customesettings is the same as Media customesettings. This where you define the variables for deployment, or atleast one place.

go to \deploymentshare\control\ and open the customsettings.ini
same with the \media\content\control customsettings.ini
They are different

or right click on media001 (or whichever one you used and go to properties / rules

Can you make both customsettings.ini identigal right away?
E.g. copy the contents of the file for depl. to the media dito?

Yes as David mentioned, you need to open one Custom Settings and Copy/Paste into Media custom settings. Then update media.

You can copy/paste into Media->Properties->Rules textbox. That will write to customsettings.ini for the media. Thx!
