When invoking command (invoke-command on a loop ) on several servers. How to manage to enter the password credential only once ?

i need to "invoke-command" on several servers. So i do this inside a loop as follows:

foreach($theServerName in $machinesNames){
    write-host  "commands on : " $theServerName
   Invoke-Command -ComputerName $theServerName -ScriptBlock { get-service 'someService' } -Credential superAdmin | Out-Null

Open in new window

my problem:
I need to enter the password for superAdmin user at every loop.
Is it possible to make powershell to keep it inside the loop for all servers ?
Do i have to do this in a different way ?

i dont want to have the password in the script.

thank you in advance for your help.

Is this what you're looking for?

$superAdmin = Get-Credential
foreach($theServerName in $machinesNames){
    write-host  "commands on : " $theServerName
   Invoke-Command -ComputerName $theServerName -ScriptBlock { get-service 'someService' } -Credential $superAdmin | Out-Null
