how to fix exchange server issue with winmail.dat files set as email attachments?

I have just upgraded to a brand new windows 2013 exchange server and when i receive an email from another exchange 2003 or previous server then outlook will attach any attachments such as .DOC or .xls files as a winmail.dat file attachment in my outlook.

How do i fix this and on which server do i do the fixing on - exchange 2013 or exchange 2003 and previous?

Thanks

I have run into this a lot.  The issue lies in the auto-complete file.  Tell the user to delete your email address form their auto-complete file.

Outlook 2007 and earlier, you have to edit the NK2 file (you can use nk2edit free software), 2010, 2013 and 2016, enter the partial address, hit the red X delete button after the autocomplete.
