I use a tripod with an extension pole. The Stanley 1-77-022 3.6m is made with aluminium, you don't need wheels because is very easy and light to move. I like also the telescopic rod parts 1-77-184, that I can easily block to the ceiling (in office environment). The connection between differente pole elements are very poor, but it is also very cheap, so if you make a lot of survey you can change it once a year.

Can anyone recommend a good tripod for doing wireless site surveys? &nbsp;I will be using a cisco 3702 with a terrawave battery pack. &nbsp;I would like to find something with wheels that could extend at least 10 feet.<br />
