"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Test disk on another PC/laptop. If it's the same, it's a hardware problem, you won't be able to solve it (if under warranty, get it replaced). That is, if it's a simple USB drive WITHOUT a special button/switch for write protection (about 99.99%).

Same problem on another pc

If it's a simple USB drive WITHOUT a special button/switch for write protection (which is about 99.99% of all USB). you have a defective unit.

the goal was for me to know how it looks and its options.
With only the brand I cannot tell you anything. Which is the model please?

A USB Stick or Flash memory card behave this way only if it is going to die and the data writing to it is not allowed anymore.
If the card or USB stick has a write protection button then you can enable the writing again. Otherwise it is bad.
