Managing vCenter Servers

Hi All,

Quick Question i have 2 vCenter Server which are on two different Domains within two different Data Centers
is it possible to Manage a two different vCenters within one vCenter, saves me from jumping from two different VPN while Managing from Remote.

if so how can i go about doing this..

Yes, you can use Link Mode, to link them together.

But if they are different clients, you may not want to do this! But I'll leave that to your decision.

What version are you using ?

What you can do is to install 2 vCenter Server in linked mode. They have to "see" each other.

Your question is regarding the client-side. This is not possible - sorry!
You could use the Web-based GUI, but if you have to change the VPN-Connections not even this is a feasible option.

May have to look at installing vmware Horizon with view and putting that on the DMZ so i can access both vCenters within one VPN connection while working remote.

Horizon seems a little OTT for vCenter Server management.

Do not have a Web Browser for using the Web Client ?

I assume, no external rules have been setup for external access, other than VPN! e.g. no public IP

While Working within the office we do have access to both sites without the use of  a VPN,
