Outlook 2007 Question

While working in Microsoft Word 2007, a memo is created with straight connector line. As a new e-mail message in Outlook 2007 is composed, the information from the Microsoft Word Document is copied and pasted it into the body of the e-mail. Once the recipient receives and opens the e-mail in Outlook 2007, a gradient blue line appears in the e-mail message. The more the user forwards the e-mail, the more and bigger blue gradient lines appear. The straight line connected has been removed as a test and the e-mail has been resent with the same gradient blue line displaying.  Is there a fix to prevent the gradient blue line from displaying in e-mail messages that are sent or forwarded? I appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please follow these steps to remove a gradient blue line in email messages while sending or forwarding.

Click Tools - > Options... -> Open Options dialog box -> Select Email Options in Preferences tab.
Email Options - > In section On replies and forwards select Include original message text for both replying and forwarding messages -> Now click OK.

Hope it will work.

Hi Lisa,

Thank you for the feedback. I've taken the steps listed above and still see the same blue gradient line when generating/forwarding a e-mail in Outlook 2007.

Thanks,
