Navigation Drop Down isn't Working

I am using the navigation menu from the WP Twenty Thirteen theme to create my own starter theme to build from.  I just tested by adding a sub-page to the navigation and it works fine from a mobile device in the menu, however, on full screen, it doesn't allow for the dropdown to appear on hover.

Here is a link to my test page.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think that you have to edit the css file for that!

Yes, I get that... That's what I'm asking.  What edits to the CSS file should I make.

The overflow: hidden in the following style is causing the problem
styles.css line 874
.navigation {
  color: #888;
  font-size: 12px;
  line-height: 18px;
  overflow: hidden /* REMOVE THIS */
