firewall external for sharepoint

we are doing a review of firewall ACL's for all our web servers. In the main it is only http/https for external access, but on one of the sharepoint servers, which has ports 5500, 5900, 8081, and 8082 open. I cannot find much info on the default services behind these ports, can anyone who manages external facing sharepoint apps provide any insight why such ports may be required/open, or if this could be a mistake. maybe they do relate to sharepoint?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

8081 and 8082 are often used for alternate web servers like Apache.  Or for other services.  Known uses for port 5500: http://www.speedguide.net/port.php?port=5500
