copy of Macro Enabled workbook shows no macros

I have  a user who sent me a copy of a MacroEnabled workbook that I originally created for another user.  She wants me to edit it by adding names to the macro.  When I click on VIEW MACROS it is blank.

How must the user save and send me the Workbook in order for me to see the Macros.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If the user is sending the excel directly by clicking on file-->save & send -->send using & email..You will get file with extension .xlsx which doesn't have macros in it.

Now in order for you to see the macro ask..the user to save it as .xlsm first which option he get in save as type-->excel macro enabled workbook..

Then ask him to send it to you and you will be able to see the macros...
