Pop up virus on IE

I have pop us malware on IE , I cleaned everything with all the software's malwarebytes , adware cleaner , JRT etc...

Only on IE I still get pop ups on Chrome , mozila etc.. I don't and all cleaning programs shows that the computer is clean, there are no add ons active, and not startup programs , there is Mcafee AV active and running . no malicious programs in the add and remove program.

how do I get rid of that?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

check in add / remove programs and sort by the date most recently installed, you might find there's a couple in there you didn't install. Uninstall them if there are, also check in windows services, see what's running and if there's any that you're uncertain what they are. There might be a few odd sounding ones which are legit so it's easy to think you've found it when it's not.
When in doubt the safe way to check is to stop the service, open internet and see if the pop ups are still present. if they are, start the service again and move onto the next one...

safest way then is to re-image / re-install..

Download, install and run Process Explorer from Microsoft Sys Internals. Look under the Explorer tree (left side) for strange (alphanumeric) processes. Kill the processes but do not restart. Exit and run Malwarebytes again. See if that gets rid of the pop ups.

Also, restart in Safe Mode no networking and run Malwarebytes in Safe Mode.

Please let us know.
