SharePoint 2010 library doesn't update content ?
Hi All,
I've got a SharePoint library item display refresh issue. it is running 2010 (14.0.7015.1000) the problem happens when there is new item has been uploaded to the library (PDF file) using 3rd party application but somehow the SharePoint Library is not showing it immediately, I have to restart the whole SharePoint server which runs the WFE role to make display the newly uploaded data.
This is less than ideal because whenever new item is uploaded, we do not know until someone receives complaint and I must reboot it every other day.

ok, which one to double check ?
The power user from the business team blames me as the Server administrator for the poor performance, but I don't see any VM cpu for both SharePoint and SQL Server goes beyond 50% at all.

Yes, but what metrics to show or check to prove that it is not SharePoint 2010 issue or the database issue ?
ASKER
My assumption is that when the pdf file is uploaded to the library, that file is then uploaded / ingested to the SQL server database as BLOB.
Is that correct ?
