RHEL cert errors for rhel 7

is there a way to see if a cert fails in a log file some ware or a way to test certs on a RHEL 7

i can't find a log for certificate errors ??

if it is with apache/httpd

you can see the error on the folder

/var/log/httpd/

In many situations with mod_ssl (like mismatched cert _ key, no SSL ciphers etc) there is not a single line in logs, and no parse errors in configcheck.

You need to make sure private key is only readable by root
The moduli matches
That all :443 virtual hosts enable SSL engine
Then apache gets to logging.

Quick check is to disable mod_ssl and check that you really get apache logging.
