How do I install Multiple Domains with WordPress on One Server

I want to configure multiple domains using wordpress on single server. I am using Redhat Linux version 7.1, APache and wordpress 4.3.1We will be using Linux server (Ubuntu) with Apache 2.2 and wordpress 3.5.1 for our example. You can use the same idea for different OS and IIS (or other web server).

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What is your actual question?

Are you asking how to setup multiple domains on a server or are you asking how to setup multiple wordpress domains on a server - they are mostly the same thing.

You would setup a different database for each domain and install each WP instance to its own DB.

Can you be a bit more specific regarding what information you require.

2. I am asking how to setup multiple WordPress domains on a server.
3. I will not be using multi-site in WordPress. I need each domain to have it's own directory.

That depends entirely on your server and how it is configured. Are you configuring it yourself or are you working through an ISP that manages that for you?

2. Same answer as 1 - you would need to also know how to create different databases - but that is also dependent on your hosting setup.

your domain is registered right means you have purchased the domain from Registrar....right?
like test.com . Now you want to configure the different domain names or single Primary domain & other would be sub-domains like one.test.com . you can do this using Registrar site like godaddy.

You have to install Fedora-EPEL version of wordpress,
If you configure EPEL repository and not download single RPM - you get wordpress security followed for you by professionals.
Then read /usr/share/doc/wordpress*/README.fedora-multiuser for further setup details.
Thats where I squeezed 15 blogs that users were maintaining themselves.
It is much simpler than juggling with apache/nginx virtual hosts and then sweeping 15 wordpress version files for potential bugs.
