I broke the internment date up by decade, and I still cannot get it to sort.  How do I sort this table by internment date using libreoffice?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is sorted, it's just not obvious how it is being sorted.

In the 1st 2 rows the dates are numeric, and the rest are text. So the sort is sorting numbers before text, which leaves those 2 rows at the top.

Change those 2 dates to text by adding a single quote as the 1st character, and then re-sort your data.
