cannot connect with root to my ubuntu using filezilla
hi all
using filezilla i can connect connect to my ubuntu server with a regular user. (typing the username and password, FTP, port 21)
but when i use root to connect (typing the username and password, FTP, POrt 21) i cannot below is the feedback of filezilla.
i am sure of the root password
Status: Connecting to 192.168.110.131:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Command: USER root
Response: 331 Please specify the password.
Command: PASS *****
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

your two comments helped me for my remote connection to ubuntu and local connection to a ubuntu virtual machine.
