how to find the dependencies of an EAR or WAR

Hi,
How to find the library dependencies of an EAR or WAR.

Right now I'm extracting "library-name" META-INF/weblogic-application.xml from an EAR to get the dependency. Is this the right way?

How to find from a WAR file

thanks in advance

Is it a maven project? Don't you have the source?
Hard to know without the pom.XML.

Some dependencies may be provided by the environment.

We don't have access to build scripts.  I only receive ear, war,  libraries (jars)

In that case everything in the lib directory is a dependency. But the artifact may be dependant on proprietary libraries in the server too. You won't know which ones unless you take them out and put them back in one by one.
