3 Monitors, 1 PCI-E slot.

I have a computer that i need to run 3 screes with it has a Nvidia gtx580 card that can only handle 2 screens.  Is it ok to install say a pci video card to run the 3rd screen.   It is for gerenral video and office applications only.  NO GAMING will be done with it....   Is this ok to use a pci with a pci-e video ports?

Yes, that will work.   Alternatively, you could simply replace your current video card with a card that supports 3 (or even 4) displays -- many cards now have this support.    Any "Eyefinity" card will do it; as will a lot of newer NVidia models.

Hey, thank you,  I have a couple of old pci cards lying around.  So ill try that first.  Oh will I need drivers and will they have them for such old technology?

Yes, you'll need drivers, but it's likely that Windows 7 or later (8 or 10) will automatically find them at Windows Update.    If not, just Google for the card model.
