DC with Hyper V - Is there a way to configure the VM's to have write cache enable

I was researching why Microsoft doesn't support running Hyper V on a DC and found this on the Altaro site. I was wondering if there is a way to circumvent such a scenario?

"When domain services are installed, one of the first things they do at boot up is disable all disk write caches. ALL disk write caches. If your domain controller is also your hypervisor, that means that all your VMs will lose write cache capabilities. Hello, needlessly long I/O queues."

There are many issues running hyper-v on a DC.. you either follow the guidelines or suffer the consequences.
Have you considered running just the Server 2012 Hyper-V as the native OS and then running everything (including your DC) as VMs inside of it?
