Building a reference laptop for windows 7

Hello Experts,

We are a small company and I would like to build a reference workstation / laptop with windows 7 and few common applications that will be included in the reference image.

Can you please let me know what applications I can include in the reference image that will make it a complete golden image. Windows 7 does it have any service packs other than sp1 that I should include?

I am thinking to include.

1. Windows 7
2. Service pack --> I want to know which one
3. Adobe reader
4. Antivirus
5. Office 365 - MS OFFICE2013
6. Making sure all the drivers are installed.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Why Windows 7 and not the current (10)?

Best approach, as I see it:
Spend some weeks using a laptop.
Install applications, you need, such as office, graphics, and tools.
Auto update Windows and other software.
Once satisfied, produce the image.
